KINGSTON MUNICIPAL VOTERS OPEN MEETING
MEMORIAL HALL, CITY HALL
SEPTEMBER 14, 2005--7:00 P.M.
This is an open invitation to all concerned, aggravated and alienated Taxpayers in the City of Kingston
PURPOSE: To establish a City-wide Taxpayers organization
COMMENTS: never in the history of Kingston has it been more important that taxpayers rise up and take back ownership of the Municipal Council. Almost everything of significance that this Council hastouched hasturned into either a planning disaster, community enragement, a major tax increase, or another hand-out to developers and friends.
The concerns and needs of the Residents of Kingston are being ignored in deference to a greedy segment of the business community. Taxpayers must be able to make their positions on major issues known through a co-ordinated Taxpayers Organization.
United, our Electoral District voices will be very meaningful. Individually, our Electoral District voices are lost in the noise of the wind.
A strong attendance and participation of Voters from all of the 12 Electoral Districts is highly desirable.
